🏆 The Beyond Inclusion Book Awards are officially LIVE! 📚✨

When I wrote Harvey’s Silent Discovery, I hoped it would raise awareness about autism in a gentle, child-friendly way. But something amazing happened, I discovered an entire community of incredible authors creating beautiful, meaningful books about all kinds of disabilities and differences.

And yet… most of these stories still aren’t reaching the shelves of schools and nurseries.

That’s why I’ve created the Beyond Inclusion Book Awards, to celebrate inclusive children’s books and help them reach the settings that need them most. As part of my Beyond Inclusion initiative, I work directly with educators and early years settings to provide lesson plans, activity packs and awareness days and now I’ll be recommending award-nominated books through that work too.

✅ Authors get visibility, recognition, and the chance to connect with real educators and families
✅ Schools and nurseries get access to a curated collection of diverse, inclusive stories
✅ Children get to see themselves and others represented, helping build a more accepting, empathetic generation

Winners will receive a Beyond Words trophy, a spotlight on our website, and the opportunity to have story-linked activities created and shared with settings as part of our wider mission. But more than that, they’ll be part of something bigger.
