Exciting Studio Updates at Airtight!

We have been quiet on Facebook recently because we have been VERY busy at the studio.

We have a lovely, brand new second studio with a spacious control room and large dry vocal booth.

ATC SCM45a Monitors and a wealth of preamps and outboard by Neve, Chandler/EMI, Universal Audio, Focusrite, Empirical Labs, Thermionic Culture and many more. This room also has a Bechstein upright piano.

Studio 1 has been completely overhauled with all new equipment centred around a one of a kind BBC specced vintage 26 channel Studer 900 with Carnhill (Neve) direct outs as well as load of new outboard and preamps by Neve, Avalon, EMI, Prism, Universal Audio, Empirical Labs, Audio Design and many more.

The live room has also been improved with new adjustable acoustic treatment that has given the room a much more controlled and versatile sound. We have also added a beautiful Bechstein grand piano.

Our Microphone collection has grown massively too with new mics including, Coles 4038s, Neuman U87, Neumann KM184s, Bock ifet, Peluso P-87, Peluso 2247LE, AKG C414s and many more.
