Once it comes to the end of a week, whether it’s dragged on or has flown by, I stop and wonder, “Can I think of something I’ve done for myself?” 😩 The answer isn’t always yes. But life happens. Work. Kids. Health. Worries. Never ending to-do lists. You name it.

When I can though, I try to practice small things to make a difference in how I’m feeling, especially during these holidays. There isn’t really time for a “break”.

⬇️ Here are 12 things I’m reminding myself of and you, for when life gets busy.

Feeling happier as a mum doesn’t have to mean finding more hours in the day. Sometimes it’s about finding small moments that make the hours you already have feel a little better. Read s…

I am so much more than just a mum! While it’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of, in my latest post, I share my journey of rediscovering who I am outside of motherhood and why making space for our own identities matters so much.

I’m sure time moves differently with your second baby 🥹 one minute you’re holding their tiny hand, and the next you’re wondering how they’ve grown so much already even if they still seem small on the outside.

If I could bottle these little moments forever, I would 🥹💙

Five years ago, I became a mum for the very first time... and life changed in ways I never could have imagined ❤️

Motherhood has been full of beautiful memories, sleepless nights, tough days, laughter, self-discovery, and so much more.

Looking back over the last five years, I'm reflecting on everything this journey has taught me – not just about raising children, but about myself too.

If you've ever wondered how motherhood changes you, or you're somewhere on your own parenting journey, I'd love for you to have a read.

My first baby has turned five. Five years old. It feels crazy to say those words out loud because, in so many ways, I can still picture the tiny newborn I held in my arms for the very first time. O…

What would you tell your younger self? 💭

If I’m honest, I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I was a bit of a school nerd who collected leaflets to pretend I worked in an office. My happiest memory was building a fake shop out of old tins and butter tubs with my grandad. He always made it so magical.

Funny how life works - my very first job out of school was on the tills and shop floor at the Manchester United Megastore. That led me down a path I never expected. I completed college and uni to then move onto working in a learning admin role for a local college, volunteered for the marketing department for newsletter content writing, then became a Marketing Assistant. For the last 10 years, I’ve worked in marketing, and today I’m a Marketing Manager.

I got that corporate office life after all. But if I could sit down with that little girl sorting cereal boxes, I wouldn’t talk to her about career success. I would tell her to worrying so much about what people think of you. Stop trying to shrink yourself to fit into places, spaces, and boxes that just don’t suit you. It took me becoming a mum to realise that the "important things" are found in the love and happiness of your own home.

Today, my heart is full. I have everything I ever dreamed of, just by being exactly who I am.

If you could give your younger self just ONE piece of honest advice today, what would it be?

☀️ Our First Holiday as a Family of Four ❤️

Our latest adventure wasn't just about getting away - it was about our very first holiday as a family of four. From packing all the things to making memories with our two little ones, it was chaotic, exhausting, and amazing.

New Blog Post: Changing My Perspective on Working Out 💪🏻💛

For so long, I thought working out had to be only about losing weight or changing how I looked.

Lately, though, I've realised that exercise doesn't have to be a “chore”. It can be about feeling stronger, improving my mental health, having more energy, and taking care of myself.

In my latest post on The Mama Perspective, I'm sharing how my mindset around fitness has changed, why I'm focusing on progress over perfection, and how this new perspective is helping me.

If you've ever struggled with motivation or felt like exercise just wasn't for you, I hope this post reminds you that it's okay to redefine what fitness means on your own terms.

As a mum of two, your days can be chaotic and balancing everyone else’s needs naturally come first. But it’s time to put your mind and body first for a change – start with working out and kee…
