It's been such a busy year, it's absolutely whizzing by! Here's a little taster of what we've been up to lately, from important charity animations to business forecasting and finance. Mostly working in filmed video, 3D animation and 2D explainer video - and more portfolio updates are coming soon too!

2024 Wrapped 🎬✨

It’s been a year of cool videos, creativity, and studio highs (with plenty of coffee). Here's what we achieved together:

📽️ 92 Videos Created – That’s 92 stories shared and messages brought to life.

Amazing Clients – with 1/3 of those Returning Clients – The ultimate compliment. Most also collaborated with us on more than one video.

📍 34 Days Filming Across the UK – We travelled far and wide from cities to rural locations to capture the best visuals and audio for our clients.

🏆 Awards Finalists – We were honoured to see our work recognised on a bigger stage this year.

Our videos covered a huge range of important topics, from Mental Health to Supply Chains and Green Energy to Phone Use and Finance.

Just finished leading a creative workshop at a college, working with T Level students on their first showreels. It was great to speak to the students about the process and review their edits so far together. Loved it! The future is bright 🌞

Here are a few of the style frame designs we created after Jade's character look was confirmed for the Homeless Link animation. The charity also really wanted to use the symbolism of a journey on the road, so we incorporated this concept throughout alongside Jade meeting various supporters and friends.

Delving more into this project, the charity Homeless link also had some great new branding, and we used the style and ideas to create a new animated character, Jade, who would be the focal point of the story.

As the branding was pretty new, we experimented with some character styles and colours to get the look and feel of the people right in the animation, making sure it was representative and aligned with their vision.

We offered several options for Jade and the peer supporters and worked with the client's feedback to refine them. Every production we make is bespoke, so we take the time to make it right before jumping into any animation. Sharing the feedback from Homeless Link made me realise we were remiss in sharing any of this cool project! They came to us looking for an explainer video for their new strengths based approach to working with people experiencing homelessness. It was such a delight to help them with this important work. Went up to County Durham this week with camera op Damian to capture the official opening ceremony of Addictions North East's fantastic new centre with the Lord Lieutenant. It was a busy day so I barely got any pics! She was clearly delighted been shown round and talking to staff and service users, it was a lovely day.

We then did some interviews chatting with staff about what they've been up to lately and plans for the future. This organisation is really exciting, it's amazing what they're doing and I'm looking forward to seeing all their progress. Vids coming very soon 😎

It's World Mental Health Day today. This day means so much to us, and we're lucky to have worked with so many organisations that strive to help people feel empowered to improve their mental health. We're proud to know and support you. And if anyone is struggling with MH today, or any day, please always reach out - someone cares.

Had a great day with Wigan & Leigh College filming for their Centre of Excellence for Sports. I was directing/ ducking from balls a lot of the day hiding behind Shane! But we got some fantastic shots and I'm in awe of everyone, was amazing to see Manchester United under 21s and Leigh Leopards 🐆

It’s been a while since we shared any cool animations. But this has been a busy, busy summer! Anyway, here’s a charity video production we just completed for The Power of Nutrition, a fantastic organisation working to pool funds and create partnerships between governments, the private sector and NGOs to drive forward action against malnutrition. They recently rebranded and wanted a new About Us video to explain their expansive offering quickly. We worked with their bold, colourful new look to create a dynamic video mixing illustration, graphic design, and their supplied footage. Click the link in the stories to view the project.
