Day 1 of the £1 flip challenge 💛
I’m starting with just £1 and flipping our way towards clearing my debt in 2026. No big risks, no dodgy schemes, just charity shops and a bit of patience.
Yesterday me and my daughter popped into The Salvation Army and found Elmo for £1… listed him and he’s already sold for £5 🙌 So we’re £4 up!
We also found a Monopoly man teddy but the margins weren’t right (and someone had decorated him with biro 😂).
The best moment though? In Douglas Macmillan Hospice a lovely lady came up to my daughter with a jacket and said she’d seen it and thought it would suit her style. Absolutely made her day. Proof that not everything valuable costs money 🤍
Small steps. Smart buys. Let’s see what £5 turns into next.
