The label was started by Louder Than War founder John Robb; founder of The Membranes, and Goldblade, author and journalist. The aim of the label is to provide an outlet for both new and established bands, to enable them to release music that other labels would ignore. There are no boundaries, if we like it - we will release it. Louder Than War Records is distributed via SRD, as such the label has

the ability to get its releases into both the independent and major music retail outlets, in addition all releases are available in a digital format via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc.

On this day back in 2014; Evil Blizzard had a double page spread in Kerrang! - we had just released their debut album 'The Dangers of Evil Blizzard' on Ltd Pink Vinyl and CD.

The Membranes 'Dark Matter / Dark Energy' Double Vinyl REISSUE.

Limited Edition reissue of the bands long sold out 2015 album. For this edition, designed by Cormac Figgis we have altered the colour of the artwork to black gloss varnish on matt black, now spread across a gatefold sleeve, together with two gloss print insets featuring the track list, and lyrics.

Two vinyl options: Pink Universe and limited to just 100 copies or crystal clear and limited to just 200 copies. Shrink wrapped and with a hype sticker.

We have 10 of the Pink Edition, and not many more of the Clear edition

Bandcamp Friday is live!

On Friday 29th November we will reissue The Membranes 'Dark Matter / Dark Energy' album - Advance orders are now open.

In 2015, Membranes released ‘Dark Matter / Dark Energy’ their first album for 25 years.

It was a critically acclaimed double album about life, death, and the universe. It became the band's best-selling album, the vinyl edition sold out upon release, the CD edition was repressed multiple times, despite this it has been unavailable for some time.

We have now regained the rights to this album and are pleased to announce it is to be reissued on double vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with experimental artwork, plus lyric sheet and poster sheet depicting the original artwork.

The vinyl will be available in two editions:
Clear Vinyl – 200 copies
Coloured Vinyl - 100 copies

The album will be released on Friday 29th November 2024.

Paranoid Visions performed a stunning set a the recent Rebellion Punk Music Festival, which somehow prompted us to dig deep into the LTW vault - we have unearthed 12 copies of 'Countdown to Pharmageddon Pt 2: Corona-Verse Reality'
