Not only was JD Twitch an incredible musical influence on me, he was anti-fascist, and stood up for a fairer, safer, kinder world. He is a legend that will be missed. A true brave.
This is the visual dropped at the bells of Hogmanay 2019 into 2020. It was a delight!
Still feeling so sad at his loss. And angry and sad at all the other mindless suffering in the world right now.
Peace & unity.

Managed to find so many pics of so many good times.

My first ever Optimo was with my Opti-bro .
We were in Glasgow for his birthday.
He almost didn't get in cos he had no ID, but we convinced the bouncer we were twos and got in on just my ID 😅.
James absorbed Barry from the into our dance circle.
It was 22.2.2007.

Since then I've been countless times with and we've always had the most FUN times and absorbed so much amazing music we never would have, and met so many cool people.

We even got to go to an Optimo party on the world's last ocean going steam boat, the Waverley.
I grew up seeing that dock in Fort William as a kid.... So it was EPIC to get to have an Optimo party on it.

We also managed to go to Optimo 20 - despite me being an idiot and trying to take some whisky into it cos I was skint, getting caught, and barred!
I had a weird mullet, so I went and shaved it off.
Changed from crazy festival clothes to my most normie outfit. Waited a few hours.
Bouncers had no idea I was the same guy and had probably seen 500 people by that point and I got in! That was truly epic. Just before Ellen's final nursing exams too, so well done her on still passing on them after such a party! 😅

I'm really, really sad Keith has passed. Sending love to all his family and friends and everyone else who is saddened by his passing.
But I am so, so grateful for the positive impact Optimo has had on so, so many people, and it's spirit will live on forever.
