πŸ¦‡ We have been given the green light by our esteemed hosts to be able to trial a new kind of event!

We are gauging interest in bringing our night time Hexed into the daylight, with a special daytime edition of our beloved club night as an all ages affair! Adults and baby bats are both welcome!

We have no fixed date as of yet as we want to be able to gauge the interest of the community

This is an opportunity for some of our younger goths, or older goths who may fancy are more earlier time slot, to be able to feel connected to the Thanet goth community without having to exert themselves solely to a night time setting

This year has been our 2nd full year of doing Hexed, and we couldn't be more proud of this small community we have built of outsiders, weirdos and the damned. Every night of ours gets just that little bit busier, and we hope you stick with us for even longer as we pour our hearts into these silly community driven events

thanet is very excited to welcome to the Hexed family! In their own words:

Karma Obskura is the transient trans- temporal delinquent drag deviant from the dusty streets of London. Their performance work draws influence from both the past and future seeking inspiration from gothic Victoriana to a cyber neon future, but always through a q***r lens. Karma is fascinated by the macabre and monstrous and always ready to reach a claw into the shadows. Karma is delighted to join the lineup for this year's Hexed at Halloween

Who else is excited for this already buzzing line up? With and already announced, we still have a couple of surprises coming up on the run up to Halloween!

Tickets are Β£6.66 in advance, or Β£7 on the door. We came close to selling out our May event, so make sure you get in there early! THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST SELL OUT EVENT!

Costumes will be encouraged, but NOT mandatory!

As some of our long Time punters will be aware, our gracious host has hung up her boots and we were on the hunt for her successor. Well, that successor has been found and we couldn't be more excited! joins us as our new host for our All Hallows Eve edition to Hexed!

In their own words:

Step into the shadowy world of Miss Luna Lestrange, Canterbury's resident spook. This mistress of the macabre is armed with a mouth as sharp as razors and a stare to rival Medusa, serving gothic glamour and lethal wit. Her performances are equal parts spellbinding and terrifying. Approach with caution – dare to be bewitched, but beware the bite behind the beauty.Β

thanet is proud to announce our first performer for our Halloween edition of Hexed. Introducing who is our first of more announcements to come. In their own words:

The 'infamous' Cici Noir: a whirlwind of chaos who offers a mix of oddball Burton-esque heroine with the tack and charm of Elvira. She's known for steamy performances with her own sexy style of storytelling charm and brooding dark themes. She's made audiences 'hot under the collar' across the country, in shows such as Untamed Burlesque, Blackpool Tattoo Convention and Glasgow Festival of Burlesque. But when she's not entertaining audiences as her weird and whimsical self, Cici can be found stage managing at cabaret nights, supporting Fringe shows with choreography or accessibility advice, as well as working as a model for artists and photographers. Once you've seen her onstage you'll agree she really must've been a muse in another life - or maybe you just want her to be?
