The Community fridge is here to reduce food waste, and available to all so keep visiting - it's stocked up regularly with bread, fresh fruit, veg, pastries, frozen food, and any other food we can stop going to waste - open to everyone during The Village opening times.

We thought it would be helpful for you visualise just *how* much of an impact we're making to the environment as a community month on month.

The wonderful Stephen from Steven’s street allotment has delivered 19kgs for the Grow to Give scheme 🥰

You can do the same if you have too much fruit and veg from your garden or allotment.

We're especially interested in receiving the following for preserving:

🌱 Rhubarb
🍅 Tomatoes
🌱 Courgette
🥬 Cabbage
🥒 Cucumber
🍓 Soft fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, etc)
🍏 Tree fruits (plums, apples, pears etc)
🌱 Squash

Bring it into The Village to be weighed, or if you're local and can't get it to us, send us a DM and we'll see what we can do ☺️

If you have an allotment at Stevens Street there's a box in the Swapsy corner where surplus fruit and veg is collected from every Thursday morning.

6pm to 8pm in the main room with The Conscious Sewist
Come along to mend your damaged, worn clothes, or join in with our collaborative quilt project. No need to book or bring materials, just turn up.

Delicious stonebaked Pizza from The Wood Oven in the courtyard 🍕

Fully stocked shelves from Refill Revolution and our resident Villagers for you to browse...including drinks from Murray Wines in the Cafe/Bar which pair nicely with the Pizza 🍻

Tomorrow's workshops in the summer art and craft club hosted by is Paper roses with Lesley and Mags in the morning and Flower pounding with Charlie

Have a look at The Paint Pottles website to book and see the activities throughout the week. We have a great schedule of make and take projects.

Groups of up to 10 children per session.
Sessions are 10am - 12pm or 2-4pm or book in for a full day from 10am - 4pm.

If booking the whole day please ensure your child brings a pack lunch or talk to us about providing lunch for an additional cost from The Village Cafe.
Drinks are included in the price.

Parents will not be invited to stay in the sessions however The Village Cafe is open for refreshments and free Wifi if you have some work to do and want to be near by.
