It's that time again for your weekly Sunday news update from the bookshop.

This week we have:
🍂 A further date added for cocktails and colouring following a speedy sell out of tickets for the first.

🍂 The arrival of cosy season at the bookshop

🍂 Did you know that absolutely everything in the bookshop is also available on our website for you to browse, check stock and buy with either postage or click and collect options. The only exceptions being our Illumicrate, Maiden Mother and Crone or Lilac Library editions which are available in-store only

🍂 Reading recommendation for Harbinger by which I have absolutely loved reading this week and it's a simply stunning first edition with a sprayed edge, foiled cover and endpapers. Releasing on the 10th September.

On Tuesday we had an absolutely wonderful time with our second bedazzling evening.

With both new and returning faces it was such a pleasure to host you all. The conversations (and fabulous cocktails thanks to ) were flowing and those books left absolutely SPARKLING!

Our upcoming events are proving incredibly popular and many have sold out but we've put on an additional cocktails and colouring date for the 12th November for those who weren't able to get a ticket or available for the one in October. You can find these on our website.

Autumn = cosy season and it has well and truly landed at the bookshop 🍂

We've got ghosts galore with new badges and sleeves, cosy trinkets, glow in the dark cold cups, new titles and everything else to help you settle into the '-ber' months.

We love giving back to you all via our loyalty scheme at the bookshop! (largely due to the stamp being adorable)

As a small business, it's really important to us all to try and help you out with your reading where we can. You collect stamps via your in-store book purchases but the money off can be spent on our bookish gifts and accessories range too.

For you online indie bookshop supporters, we love you too and as a thank you we have an online points system on our website for you to sign up to 😊

Time for your latest weekly news from the bookshop.

This week we have an update on:
- Our latest new event release for cocktails and colouring on October 15th at in Market Harborough. Tickets are available now on our website
- Advent calendar update and these are available now on our website, packed full of bookish accessories with a small sprinkling of books alongside.
- Book club update with the last chance to sign up for September. We have To Touch a Silent Fury by who has very kindly agreed to join our monthly meeting for all your questions.
- Reading recommendation and this week we have a fantasy/folk horror title, Fawn from the new Penguin imprint @3.ambooks . This is a perfect step into the darker aspects and one I've really enjoyed with some fabulous goodies alongside.
- Harborough Literary Festival on the 26/27th September where we will be hosting the wonderful .campbell , .marisa and .langton Further tickets for other events can be bought via the Festival's website
- If you've loved Steelborn we are hosting the wonderful for her author tour on the 26th October and tickets are available on our website in conjunction with

We're not excited, you're excited!

Cosy season is right on the doorstep of next week. The bookshop decoration has gone up and there are signs of autumn everywhere.

Now all that's left to do is grab that blanket, take your book and snuggle on up
