What should LAPL holders do now?

1. Check which class privileges appear in Section XII of your licence.
2. Continue monitoring your rolling 24-month recency until 30 September 2026.
3. Speak to an appropriately authorised examiner or instructor in good time about transitioning your class rating.
4. Make sure the new rating and its expiry date are correctly entered in the Section XII certificate of the revalidation page.
5. Then, from October onwards, keep a close eye on that expiry date and make sure you revalidate before reaching it.
