A little life update from me and the reason I’ve been even quieter on here. I have had to close my advent calendars and will be closing my business for a while as I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in August and begin my treatment shortly.
All advent calendars that have been ordered will be sent out the end of Sept/start of Oct before my treatment begins.

🧵 SEWING PATTERN WEIGHTS 🧵

8 button pattern weights, perfect for holding your fabric down whilst cutting out. Each set comes with 8 weights and in a handy cotton reel screw top storage pot. They will be available in a monochrome set and a pastel set (where you can choose your colour storage pot).

Each set is 3D printed in my studio in Wiltshire.

With just over 24 hours to go until the launch of my advent calendar I thought I’d share a photo. Each year I try to make my calendar reusable and something that you can use long after it’s been opened.

This year the advent calendar gifts are in an organic cotton twill tote bag with my sewing doodle printed on them. This year I have decided to offer 2 colour-ways: a bright and pastel coloured doodle. Each calendar will contain the same gifts, it will just be the print colour that is different.

These bags are perfect for using on a trip to the fabric shop, carrying sewing projects or shopping in.

Advent calendars will be available to order at 7pm this FRIDAY night (FRIDAY 27th JUNE) on my website 🧵🪡

It seems silly to be talking about my advent calendar when we are in the middle of a heatwave but as it launches this Friday I’d thought I’d share some key information.

The calendars will be available to pre-order from 7pm on FRIDAY 26th JUNE at 7pm on my website.

Calendars are only available to those that have a postal address on mainland UK. I am really sorry but I cannot post to Northern Ireland due to new regulations. Advent calendars will be sent out by Royal Mail Tracked 48 from mid- late October.

Don’t forget to set a reminder if you would like one for this Friday (26th June) at 7pm

I am so excited to be able to share the launch date for my 2026 advent calendar- Friday 26th June at 7pm!! 🎄🧵

I’ve been secretly planning this from the start of the year as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to them. I will be doing a single release this year, with the advent calendars being sent out from the end of October. Don’t forget to set a reminder if you would like one.

This year’s calendar will be filled with sewing accessories, tools and gifts presented in a printed canvas tote bag.

I have decided that I’m not ready to give up on my little sewing business so I’m back! I’ve been busy working on a new website and thinking about what I want Becky’s Sewing Studio to be.
