Only five days left to get prepared for Melton Mowbray Lions Club 4th annual pig race that is being held at the Melton Mowbray Royal British Legion Club Limited on Friday 16th October 2026. Doors open at 7pm with the first race due to start at 7:30pm. Come along and have some fun only £5 entrance per person payable on the door on the night. Choose you pig, place your bet and hopefully be a winner. If you are not a winner, not to worry your attendance will help raise funds for those in need within our local community.

Bring all the family no matter what the age, a good night will be had by all.

Xtreme Scream Park returns to Melton Mowbray. Enjoy 7 spectacular mazes (my personal favourite this year was SPORES), 2 late night ride and a variety of festival-style entertainment. I love this one. I've covered multiple and I'm sure I'll be back again next year.
Costwise it's £36-£41.20pp for a standard ticket depending on your date, whilst Fasttrack tickets will set you back £58.45-£63.70pp depending on your date.

Planning to go to Xtreme Scream this Thursday, Friday or Saturday? If so you have a 10/something chance of getting a Fast Trrack upgrade on the house. All you have to do to be in with a chance is to buy your ticket by 3pm on your chosen day.

Fast Track tickets are a great way to ensure that you can fit in all the other amazing entertainment options without being forced to skip a scare attraction. If it's anything like last year, you won't want to drop a single attraction because they are fantastic. I'll be there on Friday night so expect my thoughts on this year's experience at some point over the weekend.

It's safe to say I got my money's worth, even if I did end up nearly dying in the process. If you want to try the sauce for yourself (or any of the other free samples), make sure to swing by the Stockyard Melton Mowbray before 4pm today. Entry is £8pp (supervised kids under 16 are free) and unfortunately, there isn't a Groupon this time round. So make sure you eat plenty of samples and check out the entertainment to get your monies worth. There are a variety of workshops for the kids so you can easily make a day of it if you know what you're doing.
