THE REBIRTH OF EMBEDDED AI

🔔It has been a few months since we all got introduced to Meta AI on WhatsApp and Facebook. During the few months leading to Meta AI launch, I had seen 🆕 AI features added to Microsoft legacy apps such as Ms Paint and Ms Edge. The likes of copilot had been embedded on the Ms Edge browser and other features such as the read aloud function, which is cool and addictive if you get to used it.

🤖 On LinkedIn, AI capabilities have been introduced into the console. Right there where a user keys in input, so before posting your text, the console suggests to you that using AI to enhance your input is a cool move.

👨🏾‍💻 Today, if you run a check on almost all social media sites, you will see that analytic data has been provided to users especially avid content creators. This analytic data has been made possible by AI enhancement.

💼 In closing, embedded AI, is an old technology that large businesses have been enjoying in the past four decades. Embedded AI is that kind of AI users do not have to install and update. It is made available by the platform owners. However, users have to come up with a well thought BANDWIDTH plan that will sustain the use of these heavy data drainers.

Over the past decade, I have immensely

benefited🕺🏾 from open source software.

BUT, you know what? It wasn't like that

when I started computing. Initially, I tried

using cracked industry standard software. I

did not feel good about it 🤦🏾‍♂️.

Open source is software that is free to use,

alter or modify it's source code and freely

distribute 🤝.

👇 Below is a list of open source software I

am using today:

✅ Inkscape (for graphic design)
✅ Vlc (media player)
✅ Audacity(audio recorder)
✅ Libre (office suite)
✅ Notepad ++ (for coding)
✅ Handbrake ( for video compression)

All these☝️ tools for zero £/$

You don’t always have to bleed 🩸 cash 💰 whenever you want to try out software solutions.
