Pembrokeshire Under 11s Schoolboy Footballers play at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City may have been relegated from the Premier League, but football at the King Power Stadium continued yesterday (Saturday 10th June) with the Junior Play on the Pitch Tournament.
Junior teams from all over the UK will get the chance to play on the actual pitch at the King Power Stadium.
The same pitch that just seven years ago witnessed Leicester City famously lift the Premier League trophy and bring Champions League football to the King Power Stadium. Jamie Vardy has scored his fair share of goals at the 32,000 all seater Stadium, but could the next player to hit the back of the net be a young schoolboy from Pembrokeshire?
Well, after four months of planning and the involvement of big local sponsors, the boys have raised the funds for an experience of a lifetime. Pembrokeshire Schools Under 11s Manager Matthew Price commented “It’s been an amazing effort from all concerned to make the experience possible. A massive thank you to our main sponsors Minster Diesel Services, Veolia, Stena Line and Port of Milford Haven for their generous contributions. When you take into account Tournament Entry Fee, New Kit, Coach Hire, Hotel etc, you are talking thousands of pounds and without these companies, it wouldn’t be possible”. All of Pembrokeshire wish the boys the very best of luck.
