The Crows have been released into the park for Fright Nights and they are not giving guests an easy time. The more scared guests appear, the more they are chasing people.

Looking for something different to eat at Scarefest? Check out Cargo Global eats.

You can find everything from juicy steak sandwiches and loaded mac & cheese to chicken wraps, paella, and fresh crêpes. The old Burger Kitchen building is open strictly as an indoor seating area, so you can take your street food to eat inside.

Poppy's Pineapples were a hit with guests on our visit. You can get a cocktail or smoothie served in a real fresh pineapple.

There are also some great photo opportunities in this area.

CARGO Global Eats is BACK at Alton Towers!
Located right near the Skyride station (between Fountain Square and The Burger Kitchen), this street-food hub has officially returned for a third time just in time for Scarefest 2026!

You can find everything from juicy steak sandwiches and loaded mac & cheese to chicken wraps, paella, and fresh crêpes. The old Burger Kitchen building is open strictly as an indoor seating area, so you can take your street food to eat inside.

Check out Poppy's Pineapples, you can get a cocktail or smoothie served in a real fresh pineapple. These seemed very popular with guests on our last visit.

Scarefest Merchandise 🎃 Alton Towers has plenty of Merchandise to celebrate Scarefest.

We pent some time checking out the Scarefest merchandise in Towers Trading at Alton Towers and there is a great selection.

We ended up buying the Smiler Pumpkin resin, we definitely would have bought the other ride pumpkins too if they were available! We also picked up a Scarefest fridge magnet and a pin badges, which are currently limited to 3 per customer.

Towers Trading also have the new for 2026 Final Exhibit T-shirts in stock and the design looks fantastic.

Is Paultons Park getting its own holiday village?

Paultons Park is showing off the official plans to the public on Monday 12 October.

Plans are for a Scandinavian-style village consisting of 120 lodges to be built on the grass area next to Vargard: Realm of the Vikings.

This looks like it has been a project in the making for some time with the Paultons Park Hotel trademark being registered in 2016, Paultons Park Holiday Lodges, Paultons Park Holiday Cottages, Paultons Park Holiday Villas, Paultons Park Holiday Park, and the Paultons Park campsite were all registered in 2019.

Would you walk through the woods of Dark Hollow? If you are brave enough, watch out for what's lurking in the shadows.

Located by the Dark Forest at Alton Towers, this is a great FREE scare zone recommended for ages 12+. Our children are younger and happily went through and enjoyed it, but some may find it too spooky.

Be warned: the actors get very close and they do touch you on your way through. They also become much more intense as the dark draws in!

We went through Dark Hollow twice, and it was a slightly different experience both times, both were equally as good.

Would you dare to try this, or is the touching a dealbreaker for you?
