Is she still alive? Who is this woman who moved in opposite and would you really leave a newborn baby with a stranger!?!😲😬
You just know when a book is laying down the characters and a plot like this… it’s going to be good!.

About the other night…
🌟🍂OCTOBER BOOK CLUB MEET🍂🌟
We were an absolute 📚book lovers takeover!🙌🤸‍♂️🎉
TBH 😆We’re a mixed bunch of great ladies who just love an excuse to get out the house! Have a glass of vino🍷, discuss life, menopause, 📚authors, plots 🧐and try and read a book in a month!🥰
(We meet on the last Tuesday of every month if you’d like to join us)

🤷‍♀️Anyhoo... on Tuesday 28th October we came together to review "Broken Country" by Claire Lesley Hall.

🙌Three new members joined us this month so a HUGE welcome to Denise, Sue and Andrea. 👋

📖REVIEW OF THE BOOK 📖
All our reviews were pretty consistent with a solid 8/10. Most agreed that they enjoyed the love story 💕 that flowed through the book between the characters, along the twist 🌪️ and turns within the story as it moved across 2 different time periods. 🤷‍♀️ So, all in all an enjoyable read for October.🍂🍁 and one we would all recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🫣BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!🙌
We had our September 📚BOOK CLUB MEET UP📚 early this month as quite a few of our ladies were off on their holidays next week ⛱️
(Grabbing the cheaper rate now all the kids are back at school)
We had a fab catch up! 🤣 loads of chatter, laughs, sharing of info… 🤭We did get to talk about the book promise! And reviews were mixed (will do a post later☝️)
But for now 🤷‍♀️ we are still going strong 💪 and love having new members join us!
We’ve all met through our love of books, reading, meeting new people who have become friends 🥰👍

We were an absolute 📚🐛book worm takeover!🙌�Meeting to discuss our August read which was "The Wrong Sister" by Claire Douglas... Our overall review of the book in next post however...

😆Tuesday night we were a mixed bunch of great ladies , some new ones too! who just love an excuse to get out the house! Have a glass of vino, discuss life, authors, plots and try and read a book in a month 👍

Claire Douglas’ writing style is really good… and the additional ‘pieces’ she drops in every few chapters… brilliant! Definitely keeping me intrigued and wanting to read more!

We are still going strong ladies! - apologies for the lack of fb activity and updates...
July was a little light on the ground with some ladies late finishing work, rushing out to appointments, dealing with life basically! 😂
(nothing new for us ladies) - But was great to catch up and see you all... however brief.

We discussed and reviewed last months book:
📚 The Woman On The Ledge : Ruth Mancini
Giving it a unanimous 8/10 😳

Have you read it?

We all enjoyed it... some found the story a little convoluted with lots of twists and turns... however it kept us all gripped and intrigued and a few of our members would highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So if you haven't yet grabbed yourself a summer read 🤓📖🏖️ maybe this one could be your next?

We chose next months (August) read 👉
📚The Wrong Sister : Claire Douglas
A psychological thriller no less! that apparently has had everyone who has read it hooked!

FYI - we're just a bunch of normal (arguably) friendly ladies who meet once a month to discuss everything and anything - try to remember its a book club (we all enjoy reading) and encourage/champion each other to be better at it! LOL

Whether youre a kindle reader, audio or old school print - we dont care... just bring your enthusiasm and you're in!
