Time to share a little secret: I've developed a deep affection for my camera gimbal ❤️.

It's become an integral part of my creative process.

It's the MVP of my packing list for shoots, and honestly, the thought of being without it is just not an option.

This gem keeps my footage buttery smooth and opens up a world of angles and shots, making the impossible seem effortless, whether I'm darting around or standing my ground.

But it's more than its functional charm - it's about the magic it brings to storytelling, transforming visions into breathtaking realities.

It's not just a piece of equipment; it's a storyteller's dream companion.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just perfect.

Days like these remind me how important it is to take some time off and enjoy the simple things in life.

As a video producer, my job can sometimes be demanding, but taking a break and spending quality time with my loved ones always helps me recharge my batteries.

When I take the time to disconnect and relax, I become more productive and creative in my work.

So, if you're feeling burnt out or overwhelmed, I encourage you to step back and do something fun and non-work-related.

🎬 BREAKING: AI tried replacing me with a plastic action figure.

Apparently, some people seem to think creating video content in 2025 just means:

✅ Letting AI write the script
✅ Using a robot presenter who blinks like it’s learned emotions from a goldfish
✅ And hitting ‘render’ only to realise your AI presenter has 7 fingers

But here I am, stepping out of my toy box on a mission with my camera in hand and ready to remind everyone that powerful video still needs a human eye (and occasionally a tripod that doesn’t fall over mid-take).

Yes, I’ve got AI in my toolkit.
Yes, I use it.
But they’re assistants, not replacements.

(Unless one of them can carry a tripod, direct a CEO, and edit out a fire alarm mid-interview — in which case, DM me.)

I’m still showing up,

Sometimes our founder looks more like a doctor than a filmmaker 👨🏾‍⚕️🎥

(Although in this case, the lab coat was genuine — we were doing a site recce at a specialist research facility.)

But in all seriousness, this part of the process is critical.

Before we film anything, we work out what really needs to be captured — for internal teams, external comms, training, or brand content.

It’s about asking the right questions, understanding the environment, and building a clear video strategy that helps teams communicate better.

Because filming is the easy bit — the real magic is in the thinking before the camera rolls.
