Robbie Williams will be performing a concert at the 2027 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, opening a weekend of music at the sporting event on Thursday 1 July.

Robbie said: "I've heard Silverstone gets loud. Thursday night on the mainstage, let's kick off the British Grand Prix properly."

Silverstone circuit is about 15 miles from Milton Keynes and straddles the border between Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire

Tickets go on sale on 24 September 2026.

We were invited along to the opening of the brand-new Chapel restaurant in Stony Stratford tonight, and WOW… what a transformation! 🥩🍷

The former Calcutta Brasserie has been completely transformed into an upmarket steak chophouse, and it looks absolutely amazing.

The food was incredible, but the real showstopper has to be the stunning w**e wall! 🍷😍

A fantastic new addition to Stony Stratford — we can’t wait to go back!

The Northampton Foxes Speedway had to postpone their meeting tonight (Thursday 17th Sept 2026) at the very last minute due to track safety.

This is obviously a little embarassing for the team who have sincerely apologised to fans.

Horizon Radio salutes Foxes management for putting rider safety first and the whole Horizon Radio Team send their best wishes and support. We look forward to many more nights of great racing.

You've probably heard the ad on Horizon Radio for Al's Hobbies in Wolverton. We popped in to say hi today and also to take these photos of a machine gun post just yards from their shop. It was on the corner of Radcliffe Street.

You can see where the guns would have poked out and the commanding view it had (as seen in the last photo). It would have been an important line of defence had Britain been invaded during WWII.

Our good friends at Animals In Need are trying to rehome Jed and Ellie (as well as many other animals).

Jed & Ellie are 5 yr old siblings looking for a home together. They are shy until they get to know you. They have previously lived with other cats and could live with a calm dog who will not pester them. They would prefer a child-free home. A safe garden away from busy roads is essential so that they can explore their surroundings once they are settle.
