IPAF training in progress 👷🏼

Ongoing training is a key part of how we maintain high safety standards across all of our projects. All of our engineers are IPAF trained, ensuring they are fully competent in the safe operation of access equipment when working at height.

This certification is particularly important when operating in live and complex environments, where safety, precision and compliance are critical. We’re proud to share our latest case study highlighting our role in the refurbishment of the Phase 1 Trauma Theatre at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Appointed for our specialist healthcare expertise, C&B Electrical Contractors Ltd delivered a complex electrical upgrade within a fully operational hospital environment – strengthening power resilience, ensuring compliance with HTM 06-01 and BS 7671, and creating a modern Group 2 medical location designed to support critical, life-saving procedures.

A key milestone reached on one of our current projects ⚡️

We’ve successfully completed the delivery and positioning of two GRPs as part of the installation of a new LV switch room, in preparation for the upcoming DNO supply. This sets the foundations for the installation of the new LV panel in the coming months.

Great progress from the team as the project continues to move forward.

Here’s one of our apprentices, Ethan!

Since joining C&B in August 2024, he’s been developing really well and is continuing to grow into his role as he progresses through the second year of his apprenticeship.

Supporting apprentices like Ethan is something we’re proud of. We’re committed to helping the next generation build confidence, gain invaluable hands-on experience and develop the skills they need for long-term careers in the industry, and we love being able to support that journey in every way we can.

Emergency call-out attended at an eye clinic, where our team installed a suitable dimmer module for the LED lighting within the operating theatre.

In clinical environments, lighting plays a vital role in both patient care and the day-to-day work of medical professionals. Ensuring systems are functioning correctly, safely and to the required standard is something we take seriously, which is why our experienced team are ready to respond quickly when urgent issues arise.
