If you’re free tomorrow 29 November, and you’re anywhere near the historic The Punch House, Monmouth - where it is said that part of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics were written, or where Liam Gallagher was said to have escaped to from nearby Rockfield Studios, tired of waiting for brother Noel to finish his guitar recordings - drop by for their fundraising Music Festival, where Haberdashers' Monmouth School own HZRD band will be performing at 1PM. Proceeds will go to the Monmouth Mayor’s Fund to help with the recent flood devastation. 🤘

What a way to kick off Thanksgiving Day in the UK. We spoke to Year 9 students at Haberdasher’s Monmouth School in South Wales about careers in the Music Business, sharing some stories about Eagles of Death Metal, Rockfield Studios in Wales, Rancho De La Luna studios in Joshua Tree, Reading Festival, Glastonbury….and all the incredible jobs available in the industry, from A&R to PR to going on tour. We also passed out music stickers, offered over 200 treats and looked at some photos we’ve taken over the years. Super thankful for all the experiences we’ve had in the business, even the bad ones! Special thanks to for having us and for the warm welcome we received from the Year 9 students. They are a pretty cool bunch. Happy Thanksgiving All. 🤘
