Day 5 - sad to see the Neve leave the Coach House control room today. This is the first time in over 30 years that neither studio at Rockfield will have a Neve console. Wow!!! From the V3 through 2 VRs and finally this 8128 it’s been the perfect partnership of consoles and studios over the years…..

It’s been a busy month here at Rockfield as we get into the Christmas spirit! As well as some BTS photos from this month and some photos of our merch (shamelessly 😬), we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has made this year so wonderful - the bands, artists, producers, engineers, staff members, maintenance team, visitors, online followers, family members, and of course all our animals - there are so many of you to mention! You all make Rockfield what it is, and we just want to say a huge thank you. We’ve had the best year! The new single from Deacon Blue, ‘Late ‘88’ has been BBC Radio 2’s record of the week this week! Fab news! We’ve really enjoyed listening to it here at Rockfield ☺️ Their new album, ‘The Great Western Road’ will be released on 21st March - keep an eye out for that!

'Late ’88' is BBC Radio 2's Record of the Week next week and the single has been added straight to their A List! Listen out for it over the coming weeks and thanks to everyone at Radio 2 for their support 🧡
