JJL Productions are delighted to announce Ben Randall as the Composer for Halloween II: The Death of Michael Myers.
Owner and Director Jake Lund said:
"We're absolutely delighted to welcome Ben to Halloween II: The Death of Michael Myers. Music plays a huge role in creating the tension, emotion and atmosphere of a Halloween film, and we believe Ben is the perfect person to help bring our vision to life. We are incredibly excited to begin working with him and can't wait for everyone to hear what he creates for the film."
Director Morgan Screen said:
"I'm very excited to be working with Ben. We've had several meetings together that have been really productive and have shown that we're completely on the same page creatively. I can't wait to hear the completed score and see our vision become a reality."
Ben Randall spoke about his appointment and said:
"Already being a classic horror fan, I was extremely excited to get involved. The first film laid such great groundwork, and you can really feel the love that the cast and crew put into it. My excitement was further pushed after speaking to Jake and Morgan, as we got nerdy over Star Wars, Doctor Who and football in our first call. Being able to talk to my collaborators like friends is really important to me.
I'm really thrilled that I get to write the score for this film. John Carpenter's score for the Halloween franchise had such a monumental impact, not only on film scoring but pop culture too. Stepping into this musical world is going to be an amazingly fun challenge, and I hope everyone enjoys what I put to the picture."
Ben will begin work on the film's score soon.
We would like to warmly welcome Ben to the team and look forward to working with him on the project.
