It was bitter on the prom at Morecambe today and there was even a bit of ice on the beach 🥶
But the sea close to where Frontierland used to be was mesmerising. The incoming waves were mixing with a really calm tide and forming interesting patterns.

Are you in need of something fun to listen to this Friday?!
Can we recommend our latest podcast which tells the story of how a Morecambe primary school and musicians have created a song that's a guaranteed ear worm!
It's a great example of how the Morecambe Bay Curriculum is paying off to encourage pride in the area by using music as a way to spread the word.
Enjoy!

💥We're back - with a new series of podcasts featuring fascinating people from all around the Bay!
🎙️Kicking us off is a chat with Chris Barlow, singer songwriter and a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education (with a Geography specialism) at the University of Cumbria.
We've spoken before about his band Hiroshima Tw***ie in an earlier episode but this time he tells us how a collaboration with year 6 pupils at Sandylands Primary School in Morecambe has resulted in a song that's a guaranteed earworm!
🌅Sunset Over Morecambe Bay has just come out and with royalties being split between the band and the pupils who wrote it, it's maybe an ideal Christmas present?!
🎶Enjoy the song and our conversation with Chris.
