Tots Play Summer Specials ☀️

Tots Play has been one of the first baby groups we tried, and I remember feeling so nervous at the start!

We began with the Baby Development Course, which focused on baby massage. We learned so many helpful techniques—not just for relaxing our babies, but even for helping them with things like getting to the loo!

Lauren is one of the loveliest people you could meet. She instantly puts you at ease and makes you feel welcome. Even when you think you might look silly, she helps you realise you absolutely shouldn’t feel that way!

One of our favourite parts of the week is attending Tots Play sessions. We’ve made so many friends, and Myla loves playing with the other babies. We’ve discovered new and exciting ways to bring sensory play into our routines—sometimes it’s a creative new activity, and sometimes it’s simply a chance for Myla to enjoy playing with things she wouldn’t normally get to explore.

The summer specials were a real highlight! As soon as bookings opened, I knew we had to sign up. We loved our weekly sessions so much and would have missed them over the summer break. From exploring in the garden, to Tots Fest, and finishing with a beach-themed party—each one was amazing.

Thank you, Lauren, for creating such a warm and welcoming space where mums can bond with their children, share experiences, and make lasting friendships. We truly couldn’t recommend Tots Play enough!

What a day we had on Sunday - Mylas very first festival and she absolutely loved it! We were there hours and didn’t even manage to do everything! So much for the little ones aswell as the older ones and grownups! We had such a lovely time exploring what was on offer, playing some funfair games, enjoying delicious food and listening to some amazing artists!

We had the best time and Myla loved getting to spend it with and Alf 🫶🏻🤍

GIFTED| WOW What a week of food we had!

kindly sent us some meals to try, and let’s just say… we turned into proper chefs in the kitchen! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

If you know me, you’ll know cooking isn’t exactly my strong suit — I need to follow instructions to the letter! But these meals? So simple, quick, and actually fun to make. Here’s the breakdown:

📸 Pic 1: Crispy Onion Topped BBQ Hot Dogs
With chips and roasted garlic slaw – absolutely delicious 🤤
I loved the smoky flavour of the hot dogs and making my own chips felt very chef-y. The slaw? Not for me, but my fiancé loved it! 10/10

📸 Pic 2: Sweet and Sticky Chicken Breast on Rice
With bell pepper, young pea pods & onion – a HUGE hit!
Tried ‘ketjap manis’ for the first time (no idea what it was before 😅), and it was so tasty. 9/10

📸 Pic 3: Char Siu Pork Steak
With sesame chips, asparagus & garlicky Tenderstem® broccoli – loved the sweetness of the Char Siu sauce!
The sesame seeds added a nice crunch to the chips. Broccoli? Loved it. Asparagus? Not my fave. 8/10

📸 Pic 4: BBQ Beef Quesadillas
With baby gem & tomato salad – super simple, super satisfying!
I usually go for chicken or ham quesadillas, so beef was a nice change. Definitely hit the spot! 8.5/10

📸 Pic 5: Family Favourite Cheddar Cheeseburger
With wedges, baby gem & roasted garlic slaw – a classic!
The chips were fluffy and light, and the burger was tasty (though we went a bit heavy on the herbs – user error 😅). Slaw went straight to the fiancé again! 8.5/10
