Amazing achievement. Well done all involved!

Thank you everyone for making the return of the Box Kart such a success this year!

We really couldn’t have done this without our volunteers and sponsors – and we raised an incredible £18,500 for good causes!

There is lots to work for next year, but overall we think that the event went very well. It was a tough lift, to dust off an event after 6 years and pull it all together 🙂

Please let us know if you are interested in entering next year, or if you are interested in supporting or volunteering!

It really is an incredibly expensive event to put on, and we are deeply appreciative of all the people that volunteered to make this event work – and also to our corporate supporters who helped us make this amazing community event financially viable! For those that are interested - we have showed below where the majority of costs come from, along with the revenue.

Watch this space for details on how to get involved next year, and for when you can watch the highlights on TV thanks to the time and incredible skills of our AV team led by Ryan Saunders, including the weeks spent filming the videos of the teams before the event! And all the support from the fantastic Eye Magazines for the event! And to NVTEC Thames Valley for the tractors to tow the kart back up.

Also - huge Thank You to the volunteers - with nearly a thousand hours given by 80 people over the weekend!
