More West End magic is coming to Bridgnorth this Christmas! ✨
Following the response to A West End Christmas,Yellow Ticket Productions have added a second performance on 20 December, alongside the original date on 19 December.
We caught up with the Bridgnorth-based team for our autumn edition to find out more about bringing West End and Broadway talent to Shropshire and what audiences can expect this Christmas.

✨ A magical day on the Santa Steam Special! ✨
Last Saturday, we were invited to experience Severn Valley Railway brand-new festive adventure, The Great Christmas Train Rescue, and our guests Gemma, Jasper and Sam threw themselves into the magic from the moment they arrived.
Their day began at Kidderminster Station, welcomed by a choir, steaming hot chocolates, and a cheerful check-in with Mrs Claus and her naughty-or-nice checker. Tickets in hand, they boarded the beautifully restored vintage carriages, settling into their seats with gingerbread treats and puzzle sheets as the train steamed through the wintery countryside. Jasper summed it up simply: “It’s beautiful and I’m so excited.”
This year’s experience introduces a brand-new theatrical show created with Wise Owl Theatre Company and featuring puppetry by Matthew Forbes, best known for his work on War Horse. At Arley Station, guests enjoyed more festive treats — including hot chocolate and pigs in blankets — before heading into the marquee for a lively performance packed with music, characters and Christmas cheer.
After the show, the adventure continued aboard the return train, where every child discovered a gift waiting from Santa’s team — a lovely keepsake to round off the day. With the whole experience lasting around 2½ hours, it made for a joyful, immersive festive escape.
