Wow, nearly a year since I've made a post 🤦‍♂️ I've downed tools for quite a while for various personal reasons including the passing of my mother early this year after so apologies to those who've been wanting to work with me, it's just not been the right time at all and won't be until further notice...

On a much lighter note, I had to pop my head up to congratulate and share a little win for a long time friend who's album I had the joy / challenge of mixing - Mr Syd Howells - His album 'Mr Daniel Pemic', released last year has made it on to the nomination list for the 2022 Welsh Music Prize, he's in good company which includes Florence Black, Bandicoot, Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics.

Chuffed for ya mate! If you're going to the awards Syd, I'll rent a tux and we can throw pasties at everyone as we get thrown out 🤣

For anyone wondering how the live room is sounding for drums, here's the raw unmixed tracking audio.

Loads of wood, angled walls and ceilings, some diffusors, a concrete wall and none of them parallel.

Installing some large curtains soon to have the option of drying up the room reverb time for that disco record that no one's called me about yet.
