Having said that, I don't think this is insanely expensive.

Especially when you factor in the gorgeosity of the property.

Plus the fact that you can float around in a rowing boat whenever you like.

Worth it if you ask me.

So I don't usually feature houses in the USA, but I thought, how can I not do this one.

Because look at it.

It is pretty much the epitome (pronounced correctly) of what I have in my mind when I think of an American haunted house.

And that is brilliant.

It has to be one of the most beautiful houses on the market in the entire world.

I genuinely don't think that is an exaguration.

And this is why I find the price to be so insane.

And therefore makes me think it HAS to be haunted.

Locals, is there any lore behind this house that I should know about?

Why is it so [relatively] cheap?

I am just PRAYING that the grey paint brigade don't get hold of this.

Whoever buys this, I sincerely hope you match the décor with the style of the house.

On its own island.

Surrounded with seemingly endless forests and lakes.

There's probably some eagles knocking about. Moose even?

Of course there are going to be a billion comments saying it is going to be cold.

I think that is a given. It is Finland.

But get yourself in either of your saunas and you're sorted.

This is the perfect place to write a book I think.

We could do with a new epic fantasy I think.

What better place to get inspiration than this?

I know this one is not going to be for everyone, but I think this is spectacular.

I have to say I am not usually a fan of all things modern, however... if the modern is weird and spaceship like, I can get on board with it.

I do quite like a super modern/mad extension on a super ye olde worlde building too.

Only very occasionally, but sometimes it seriously floats my boat.

Like the Antwerp Port Authority Building (look it up if you haven't seen it). Old building with a super modern glass zord whacked on the top of it.

This water tower isn't quite on the same scale as that, but the old plus mad modern is definitely part of the same family.

The room with the fancy speakers, green sofas, dangling fireplace and the big windows by the way... that is an outrage.

I kind of wanted to not like this one, but the madness has fully won me over.
