A quick clarification about upcoming events

Just to avoid any confusion, the event this Saturday at Thatcham Rugby Club, as mentioned by Graham on yesterday morning’s G&T show, is not connected with the Old Gits Vinyl Revival nights that have been running for the past eight years at The Rampant Cat in Woolton Hill.

The DJs from the Old Gits Vinyl Revival at The Rampant Cat won’t be at the Thatcham event, we’re told — but wish them every success with their fundraising.

All the regular Old Gits Vinyl Revival events at The Rampant Cat will continue as usual, and everyone’s very welcome.

🌈 Newbury Pride 2025 — What a Day! 🌞🏳️‍🌈

Yesterday’s Newbury Pride was an explosion of colour, sunshine, and pure joy! The town came alive with music, dancing, and so many incredible outfits — from glitter and rainbows to feather boas and flags flying high. 🎶👒🪩

The sun was blazing, the vibes were high, and the performances? Absolutely phenomenal. From local legends to big stage acts, the line-up had the crowd cheering all afternoon. 💃🏽🕺🏿🎤

Massive shout-out to everyone who made it happen — organisers, performers, volunteers, and of course every single person who turned up and brought the love. Kennet Radio was proud to be part of it. 🌈💖

✨ Pride isn’t just a party — it’s a statement. And Newbury made it loud and clear. ✨
