"Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, assumed office just seven months after Burkina Faso’s Ibrahim Traoré seized power. Both leaders have now spent two years in office.
In that time, Traoré has established three processing plants—for tomatoes, cotton, and cashew apples—a gold refinery, and a veterinary pharmaceutical facility. Notably, he held no public ceremonies to commission any of them.
Tinubu, by contrast, is celebrating the completion of just 30 kilometers of a proposed 700-kilometer coastal highway.
This isn't fiction. It’s reality."
