Jubilees mark a major milestone in the reign of a Monarch, celebrating their life and service. The naming of these celebrations follows the traditions of wedding anniversaries: 25 years is called a Silver Jubilee, 50 years a Golden Jubilee, 60 years a Diamond Jubilee, and 70 years a Platinum Jubilee.

Tove Crossland is a holistic therapist who as well as delivering treatments and therapies, teaches and delivers workshops alongside the other Director Nicola also a holistic therapist offering crystal balance alignment and who also delivers a wide range of treatments and therapies as well as delivering meditation.

Between us we have a wealth of knowledge and experience.

My own experience is 20 years I FE education where I taught , supported and mentored lots of young people. Qualified and worked as a counsellor bringing those skills into all I do today.

Ocean Zen is a vibrant relaxing well-being centre in Whitley Bay. We are a Community Interest Company. We are here for the community and deliver projects ,retreats , 1:1therapies/treatments, workshops and events, as well as have a shop selling gorgeous unique clothing and goods. Our current project funded by the Community Fund Connect through Nature has been really successful in that local people affected by the current situation are able to access treatments at no cost and connect with others on mindful walks, meditations , mantra work and journal work. We also provide some music and this is celebrated by a ceremony at the end (currently some places available in March and April to work with us)

Bernard Sparkes, A man of many hats…

Film/TV Producer, Author, IP Creator, Executive Producer, Reality TV & Documentary Contributor, TV/Film Actor, Game Developer, Entrepreneur, Start-up Investor, Public Speaker & Voiceover Artist.

Bernard was born in London in the late 1960's but his formative years were spent growing up in Yorkshire. During his life he has had a varied career from stacking shelves in a local supermarket at the age of 13, the youngest member of the management team for Comet (the electrical retail group) at 17, the Police force in both West Yorkshire & Lancashire, a pioneer in the early stages of the internet/modern telecoms/web marketing, co-creator of a children's animation and book, board game creator and App developer. Throughout his life Bernard has also had a range of other jobs and launched a number of businesses some with great success.

After 20 years of living in Northern Ireland including 8 in France & Spain and a year in Scotland, Bernard is now resident in the North East of England where he has embarked on the next stage of his life.

2022 sees Bernard launching TAP (Take A Punt) a national business group, who’s main aim is to take a gamble on & fund those people/businesses/ideas that others won’t. see www.takeapunt.group.
