Just picked up the FINAL printed edition of … what an amazing / nostalgic front cover 🤯

So much has changed in the music industry over the past 15 years of running a record label, but Narc Magazine has always been a staple and there to champion the North East music scene across the regions cities & towns cafes, venues, stores and arts spaces 🙌

The magazine has always supported and all of our artists in so many ways across the years (more than can be pictured in this post) of which I’m forever grateful! I’ll certainly miss picking up a copy to check out whats happening and to nostalgically keep reviews & articles of our bands. However, I look forward to continue following & supporting NARC in their new digital-only era.

Pictured is the final printed front cover of the magazine - of which features a cover shoot … NARC supported WAKD massively with features, reviews and double spread articles over the years of which we’re insanely proud!

NARC has always been a go to for all of our artists and I’ve always loved collecting physical copies of reviews & articles, too many to mention here.

Forever in debted to and the whole team of photographers & writers for the support! Best of luck for the future digitalsphere 🖤

Sh*twife - Big Lad (2015)
Sapien Records Limited
Favourite Track: Kablab

Still one of my favourite albums ever to be released from the DIY scene I was so proud to be part of in the early 2000s, Sh*twife’s (now known as Big Lad ) debut album ‘Big Lad’ hit all the right notes for anyone who has ever wondered what a punk / techno / metal / gabba crossover might sound like....

Every show they played at the time was an absolute riot and the record captured that chaotic ride perfectly.

Back to back party bangers.
