It doesn't get much better than having a group of these circling above you, taking turns diving not even 30 metres away from you!

I pre ordered the brand new 400-800 as soon as it was revealed, and I'm so glad I did! Over the moon with the lens as a whole.
The AF is rapid, it's sharp at any focal length, the zoom ring is a really short throw and it's a massive bonus having internal zoom!
The first shot was taken at 800mm (cropped) still has great sharpness.
No problems at all with this lens, just be mindful of the weight!

I'll definitely be taking this with me to Iceland in May for the puffin & whale expeditions! 🐋
