Picked up a spring sale box from on Friday and I can confirm they were delicious. There were 6 flavours in the pack (salted caramel, Malteser, biscoff, millionaires, kinder bueno and Nutella) but they were fudgey and rich and went down a treat… in fact I’ve just looked in the box and it was empty lol

is local to me, but they send brownie boxes through the post and there are always amazing offers on their selection boxes. Get involved!

I eventually got myself down to .italian on Saturday morning for a breakfast on the go and I wasn’t disappointed! I’ve put off going as it’s a bit out of the way, but once I made the effort it definitely paid off.
Inside is so pretty - they have really made an effort to make it an entire experience - I would have liked to eat in, but No2 son was getting increasingly grumpy so I ordered, got my food, and dashed out.

I had the sausage and egg bagel, which came with a side of hash browns and, when I say that bagel was pillow soft… *chefs kiss* It was so filling I couldn’t eat the extra portion of hash browns so No1 son demolished them when I got home.

I’ve heard good things about the pizza here too (they’ve got a proper oven in the middle of the restaurant 😍) so I’ll be going out of my way again very soon.

Another day another bakery post 🥐 I also popped into on Saturday morning after seeing post the amazing croissant cubes every week (FAB’s favourite customer or something….?😂) and I wasn’t disappointed. I got there just before 9am and there were already people there so it’s obviously a huge hit with the locals.

I got, of course, the coconut croissant (which, there is no elegant or tidy way to eat, see the last photo haha), a pain au chocolat (I used to live in Paris so my standards are high), a cheese scone and a baby Bakewell tart (didn’t make it to the photo, my dad practically inhaled it). All of them were absolutely delicious, and to be honest I could have spent a small fortune in there because it all looked so good.

We’ll definitely be back!

I had a bit of a busy morning yesterday so I started it off with trip to - I was there early doors (love that they open at 8am!) to pick up a cruffin for my dad (who has been obsessed with getting one since he saw eating one on the telly 🙄) and an iced latte. I also got some Hash Pops for my little foodie road trip companion but they disappeared too fast for a photo lol.

Dot Bagels really is one of our favourites- if you can’t make it to the shop they have stalls at local markets and are on Uber Eats so there’s no excuse not to get stuck in.

It’s Saturday and I’m at work so…. it is. Both myself and No2 son had the All Dayer and hash pops (which I couldn’t finish - you get a ton), I had a Dirty Chai and he had a Hot Chocolate. Everything was absolutely delicious, as usual. And best of all, I got to deliver it to my door so I didn’t have to get dressed (yes, I’m working in my PJs, perks of WFH etc)
