Out of my comfort zone and in to this dress. I’d have killed to get in something like this when I was younger.

However truth is I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence back then either. I was always told how ugly and fat I was at school. The bullying was relentless and I don’t usually talk about it but it put me in a dark place as a teenager.

This was the daily usual for me so when I come on here and you all tell me how beautiful I look it feels like you’re talking about someone else.

It’s like living in two different dimensions that are slightly touching. I’m still the old me at times, shy and no confidence but with age I’ve felt that insecurity melt away and with it comes a new “it’s me get on with it mentality” and an understanding that beauty isn’t on the outside and that I have an abundance of it on the inside.

So sad to hear about Ozzy Osbourne. I have actually had the pleasure of meeting him in real life and he was just as you’d expect, full of character and charm. We were all in the green room waiting to be interviewed for radio I think and Bonnie Tyler was there too. He was lovely and had his photo taken with me. If I find it il post it. Good memories. For now il post this from Madame Tussauds in New York.
