We know you all love a proper raveCAVE legend... so who better to bring back than the one and only — original Ayr Pavilion artist — Bass Generator! 💥

Kicking off his DJ career in 1987, Bassy G started out spinning House, Acid, and Techno in local clubs before landing a game-changing residency at Rezerection in Newcastle. As the crowds grew and the rave scene exploded, his sets evolved — delivering the rave anthems the people wanted to hear.

Bassy first graced the STREETrave decks back in 1991 at our legendary ‘Nuclear’ event — an unknown name to many at the time, but by 1992 he had stormed onto the Scottish rave scene with unstoppable momentum.

By 1994 and 1995, Bassy was playing everywhere — securing bookings and residencies at nearly every major rave event in the UK. With over 1,500 events under his belt, an ‘unofficial’ world record for playing seven events in one night, and more than a million mix tapes sold, Bass Generator became the number one DJ in Scotland’s 1990s rave scene.

Bassy G has played for STREETrave many times over the years, and we can’t wait to welcome him back once again 🌞
