RE : Peel RE:Peel is a night Lou & Rob organise to bring like-minded local DJs to the decks. We do events too.

RE:Peel's offerings are a welcome slice of music from the more interesting edge of things, as championed by John Peel in particular. On the first Saturday of every month, we play the stuff you don't normally hear on a night out, the sort of stuff you want to hear, the sort of stuff you'd play yourself, the sort of stuff you'd forgotten about and when it comes on, well, that's why you're there. We've DJd in bars, of course, and in RPM record shop and even in a launderette, but yesterday was a first, DJing in a barbers.
I say a barbers, this was George Scotts Gentlemens Hairdressing, established 1919, but cutting their last locks on Friday; more than a barbers, a pillar of the well-coiffed community, finishing in style with live music and DJ yesterday in an in-shop swansong of the highest order.
Here's to the next 106 years. Keep us a seat please.
