RE : Peel RE:Peel is a night Lou & Rob organise to bring like-minded local DJs to the decks. We do events too.

RE:Peel's offerings are a welcome slice of music from the more interesting edge of things, as championed by John Peel in particular. On the first Saturday of every month, we play the stuff you don't normally hear on a night out, the sort of stuff you want to hear, the sort of stuff you'd play yourself, the sort of stuff you'd forgotten about and when it comes on, well, that's why you're there. Wit

h Lou & Rob on the decks and regular guest DJs spinning their own take on what makes music marvellous and not monotonous, it's all killer.

Hard to believe this record (the "Village Fire" e.p.) came out 40 years ago today.
I saw James supporting The Smiths a few weeks earlier at Leicester De Montfort Hall, the first proper pop concert I'd ever been to.

James II, 7" - 1985

We hope you know that on this page we're not trying to sell you anything.
After all, our DJ events are always free.
So we're especially sorry that last night's set from Graham Wales had to be cancelled and rescheduled because of a power cut, not because of our expectation of Graham's set...
He'll be back in August (watch this space, in case)

DEPTFORD NORTHERN SOUL CLUB are tearing up dancefloors across the UK with their no-gimmick, all-heart approach to soul. What started as a packed-out debut in 2016 has grown into a full-blown movement—monthly residencies in London and Manchester, and electric sets at Glastonbury, Green Man, and End of the Road have cemented their cult status.

Dubbed the new face of Northern Soul, the duo are breathing fresh life into the scene - digging deep into the crates to deliver euphoric, all-night sessions for a new generation of partygoers. It’s sweaty, fast-paced, and unrelentingly soulful.

Deptford Northern Soul Club rolls into ZEROX on Friday 11th July for a night of proper Northern Soul in the Saloon Room. Expect a packed dancefloor, rare vinyl, and the kind of atmosphere you don’t find just anywhere.

Warming things up from 9PM, local favourites Alex Johnson and Ethan McDermott set the pace before DNSC DJs take it deeper into the night. £6 early bird tickets.
