It's Derby Day tomorrow at Epsom Downs Racecourse
Read my blog below about the four Derby winners to be trained at Palace House stables in Newmarket now the home of the National Horse Racing Museum

Did you know there have been four Derby winners trained at Palace House?

On 1st June 1904, St Amant was the last Derby winner to be trained here at Palace House stables, winning by three lengths.

St Amant was owned by Leopold de Rothschild, and trained by Alfred Hayhoe.
