Fabulous night celebrating the best in Shropshire business and especially these four amazing teams!

McPhillips Wellington Limited scooped Company of the Year and we couldn’t be more delighted for this humble, caring, expert, innovative and committed business. It is brilliant to see this team get the recognition they deserve for both civil engineering and construction excellence, dedicated leadership and commitment to their community.

Aviramp GSE was a double winner for Outstanding Business Growth and the Trailblazer Innovation Award in a class all of its own. This phenomenal team, under the leadership of the inspiring Graham and Lisa Corfield - have dedication, passion and love for what they do. And it shines through every day.

Fabweld Steel Products may have missed out on the Eco Award but not much could dampen their celebrations in a month which saw them attend a reception with His Majesty as a winner of one of only 27 King’s Awards for Sustainable Development in the UK. They too are a company with a family culture and a passion for doing things ‘the right way’.

This is why these companies are such winners.

They are tight-knit teams - they are a ‘working’ family.

And so to mine.

I know how much these wins and nominations mean to you all. Thank you for your commitment and hard work too.

We are all invested. I know of no other client/consultancy relationships like those we build when we are trusted and valued to crack on and deliver.

For the inspired planning, middle of the night brainwaves, the off-duty What’s Apps and the ‘I’ll just pop on” posts, the strategic threads you pull, the important connections you make, the detail you demand and the lengths you go to - for these businesses as well as ours.

May may have been manic and a bit mad but the working relationships with our partners, clients and community are certainly stronger for it.

Really appreciate the trust our clients place in us.

crisis comms going head to head with the BBC on a story no-one needed hanging around

event hosting for Shropshire Constructing Excellence

brilliant board meetings with Community Resource and the inaugural meeting of the new Invest Telford Partnership

a workshop for Black Country Chamber of Commerce members on how to approach awards and write a winning entry

a garden party thanks to an invite from HM Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Shropshire Lieutenancy)

and a ‘invention is the mother of necessity’ moment of learning to produce social video content via TikTok while sat on the tarmac at an airport in France.

Right now it’s June… ready to go again team Be Bold Media?

Thank you to all the Aviramp GSE team for being the easiest, most fabulous group of people to work with.

When I look at what makes a successful company, and we’ve worked with a few, they all have one thing in common.

Good people. I mean, proper good people.

Thanks to Amy Hill and our Be Bold Media team who have worked so hard on a project which saw 24 veterans arrive safely in Normandy - wheeled down a donated, specially manufactured, Aviramp, made in Telford.

Skills, business, breakfast, networking, advice on funding and a chance to see The Quad - the heart of the new Station Quarter development in Telford.

Skills for Growth 2025, on March 13 (link to book in the comments) will launch the new partnership of Harper Adams University , Telford College , In-Comm Training & Business Services and Shropshire Chamber which aims to simplify the confusing skills landscape for businesses.

Be Bold's MD Amy Bould will be hosting the event for Telford & Wrekin Council so you know you'll be in good hands 😉

As we finish up after another brilliantly busy year at Be Bold we'd like to thank all our clients for their continued support.

Here's to another successful year of growth for us all in 2025.

Just for the record, Aaron assures he wasn’t being bah humbug by showing up today without his festive sweater, he says he was sparing the team the shame of being in a Wolverhampton Wanderers-themed Christmas jumper. 🙈

Apparently, it’s the only one he owns!
