Castleton Grow Your Own Allotment Association Welcome to the Castleton grow your own allotments page! We are a 40+ strong community of veg growers on the outskirts between Cardiff and Newport.

We currently have a few plots available (£80 per year) You can call to arrange a viewing on 07429493076 The Castleton Grow Your Own Association was formed in July 2013 so we could negotiate a lease agreement with the Garden Centre Group(Blooms) for the Castleton site and manage the site ourselves. The lease agreement has now been completed successfully and we have acquired the site for until at le

ast 2024. It is a beautiful setting, semi-rural, surrounded by mature trees with plenty of wildlife and a view over farmland and the estuary. The soil is rich, fertile and very productive. We are looking forward to welcoming new members to join our very friendly association. There are plenty of experienced gardeners who can advise novices (and each other!) and always someone who will lend a hand to set up your plot or to pass on a few spare plants. Currently, we have 45+ members and have a few plots still available to rent. The current plot rental is £70.00 per annum. This charge includes water, insurance, manure and maintenance of the site.
