Sad News : Roberta Flack dies at 88.

Roberta Flack, the legendary singer whose soulful ballads became the soundtrack of the 1970s, has died at the age of 88. Best known for her timeless hits The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Killing Me Softly With His Song, Flack’s passing was confirmed by her representatives, who stated that she died peacefully on 24 February 2025, surrounded by family.

Sam Moore, who had classic hits with the soul duo Sam and Dave in the 1960s, died Friday morning in Coral Gables, Florida. He was 89. The cause of death was post-surgery complications, according to the singer’s rep.

Ken Boothe "The Train Is Coming" is a song written and performed by Jamaican reggae artist Ken Boothe. It was released as a single in 1966 through Supreme Records. Recording sessions took place at Jamaica Recording Studio in Kingston. Produced by Coxsone Dodd, it featured backing vocals from The Wailers Band.
