The latest pictures from the scene of the earlier fire at the Narrowcliff in Newquay...

Firefighters were called to the empty houses between Hotel Bristol and the old Narrowcliff Hotel around 4:20 this afternoon.

The site is due for demolition to make way for new apartments in a controversial development.

The main road was closed for a time, and the neighbouring Narrowcliff GP surgery limited to emergency appointments only.
