The Waterboy`s are currently touring a special period of their musical canon, and playing The Fishermans Blues/Big Music songs from the mid to late eighties, these are the songs that we love the most, and regular listeners to the show will know that this is the most loved period of the band by the both of us ....

I play nothing but 1960s summer classics to transport us all back in time, to a world that was a much nicer place to be to hear great music, while my great pal trawls his secret vaults of folk/rock stellar tunes to keep us mildly grounded ...

We also tip our pork pie hats to the great Glen Hansard who tragically left us recently.....

In the Summer of `75 I was 15 years old and on my School Holidays, The Banana Splits were everywhere. The Banana Splits Show was shown everyday on daytime TV. That year we had a glorious Summer, you couldn`t walk anywhere without shoes on, the ground was so red hot, not quite as hot just now, but still with all this fantastic Sunshine, remember the Banana Splits song ... tra la lah ....

So ..with record temperatures, onto tomorrows show, we will be playing wall to wall Summer classics to get you right in the mood, and for you to get out there and get the most out of this garden time with a few Aperol Spritz ....
