If you’ve been craving a slow, creative moment before the festive chaos kicks in, this is it. This Wednesday we’re hosting a Macramé Tree Decoration Workshop with , a gentle, hands-on introduction to macramé that lets you switch off, make something beautiful, and reconnect with yourself (and your favourite women) for an evening AND it’s the perfect warm-up for our Macramé Tree Wallhanging Workshop on 29th November.

Gather the girls, step out of the noise, and ease into the season. We’ll have festive treats waiting, and a calm & cosy space!

Last week, it was revealed that SHEIN, the ultra-fast-fashion giant, was selling s*x dolls explicitly resembling children. French authorities called the listings “child-pornographic,” prompting investigations.

While SHEIN claims to have removed the items, this scandal exposes deeper rot within the company’s ethics. From reports of sweatshop-like labour conditions, high levels of toxins in its products and stolen designs to massive environmental destruction, SHEIN’s business model thrives on exploitation and we are feeding it.

Each cheap haul hides a human, ecological and now, a moral cost too. It is literally the dustbin of fashion.

If you buy from SHEIN, you are feeding a system built on harm, not style. It’s time to stop normalising this and start supporting UK brands.

What an incredible finale to our Half Term and Halloween activities! Our farming family wrapped it all up with a Strictly Come Dancing charity event in Builth Wells, where I had the pleasure of helping backstage with costumes and makeup. We laughed from start to finish! It was such a brilliant night! I’m always amazed by this collaboration of local talent, a wonderful reminder of how important the YFC movement is for young people and the wider community. They also raised an INCREDIBLE amount of money for charity!

Well done to the whole team & all the contestants that stepped out their comfort zone for such a great cause! Best night ever!
