Do you know someone who could use our service? They do not have to be visually impaired to qualify, they may not be able to hold a newspaper any longer after a stroke, or have concentration issues. Someone may just want to receive our weekly cd because they need some company. Sound Around Ards are delighted to have been awarded the Community award from the Spirit of NI awards at the Culloden tonight. Representing us was Joan Moore (volunteer reader), Christine Wilson (listener) and Libby Rankin (volunteer reader). This award was for supporting our local community for 45 years in producing a weekly cd of the local news for the visually impaired.
