Today (Sunday 6th August) marks 6 months since our friend and mentor Eddie West passed away. Scary where the time has gone. Eddie is still greatly missed by us all. This will be a day of reflection and remembrance as we recall the memories and laughter from working with Eddie over the years. Our thoughts are also with Eddie's family who, like ourselves, are still coming to terms with his passing.

We are appealing for the public’s help in recovering this important piece of equipment. It was stolen from Portaferry lifeboat station sometime between 2nd march and 10th april.
The item contains a personal indicator plus a flare and other equipment. Obviously a loss to the lifeboat association like this is massive. Anyone with information please call 101 quoting CC2017041700737.
