Orange Moon started as a concept over the various lockdowns and madness of the time. The idea was really simple - combining a love for coffee and listening to vinyl, and encouraging as many people as possible to put both of those together and have a lovely time doing so. After some pop ups and events, we found an unexpectedly wonderful home in steampunk coffee, thanks to the immensely supportive Cath, and we have been there since. We’ve sold a truck load of vinyl, enjoyed a lot of coffee and most importantly we have loved being part of the North Berwick community and Steampunk team. The friends and memories we have made over the years will stay with us forever 💗
It’s with a lot of sadness therefore, that we announce that Orange Moon will be packing up its crates and closing its doors for the last time on Sunday 29th December. Orange Moon will continue in some capacity, though we are not sure what that will look like at the moment. We are planning to go back to operating as a pop-up, so keep your eyes peeled for any future dates in the new year.
This is for lots of reasons - some personal and some professional, but none of those reasons hold any regrets for us about our time in NB.
We’d love to encourage you all to pop down over the next 2 weekends and buy some vinyl, have a coffee and a catch up.
Steampunk and the people of NB have been a family to myself and my dad and the community and friendships that have been forged will live on long after this year. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this wee business for the last 3 years. To say this has been a difficult decision to make is an understatement. My heart really is breaking writing this but we know it’s the right thing to do. Orange Moon X Steampunk - end of an era, but you’ll live forever! 🧡🧡🧡
