We have some excited news to share what we've been working on behind the scenes! 🎉

We're getting a revamp with new logos and banners, and we couldn't have done it without the amazing help from HCA for connecting us with Dylan. More to follow very soon!

In addition to our new look, we have some other big news:
We're thrilled to welcome two new committee members to the team. We'll be introducing them soon, so keep an eye out!

A huge thank you to the new sponsors who have already committed to supporting our events next year. We're so grateful for your belief in us!

Exciting News for Northallerton! 🎉

As we head into our debrief tonight, we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who's been involved with the Northallerton Carnival over the years. Your support has been incredible!
We felt it was the right time for a fresh start, so you'll be seeing some changes over the next few months. We've already updated our Facebook and Instagram page names, and we'll be revealing our new banner designs once they're finalized.

Funds are a bit low due to previous event cancellations, so if any local businesses would be interested in sponsoring our events, we'd be incredibly grateful! We'll also be hosting a fundraising stall at the upcoming Christmas event – we'll share more details once the date is confirmed.

We've got some amazing news to share! 🎉

The Carnival Team would like to give a massive shout-out and a huge thank you to our incredible Town Council.

As a small team of volunteers, we work hard to put on a free event for our wonderful community. And for years, the Town Council has always had our back.

This year, just like last year, their generous donation will completely cover the cost of our insurance. Without their support, this event simply wouldn't be possible.

We are so grateful for their ongoing commitment to our carnival and our town. Thank you for helping us keep this beloved tradition alive!

Time for a brief refresh! We're stepping away for a bit to recharge our creative energy and pour it all into developing some fantastic new projects for our event next year. We're buzzing with ideas and can't wait to reveal what's coming!

It's wonderful to see all your positive feedback about our event! Rest assured, plans are already in motion to include a RAMP for the next one.

Many thanks to you from everyone at RAMP - Richmond Area Motorcycle Project. We had a great day and are very proud of the young people who were brave enough to demonstrate their skills to everyone watching. We are looking forward already to next year's event!

We hear your feedback on the entertainment!
We've seen your comments via the feedback form regarding the entertainment at this year's event, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We understand that some of you felt there was a lack of live bands and that the entertainment could have been improved.

We want to be transparent about some of the challenges we faced. Our budget for acts is unfortunately limited, and we also had a few acts cancelled due to prior commitments that were out of our control.

Looking ahead to 2026, we're already exploring options to enhance the entertainment. We're hoping to bring back one of the gymnastics groups and some of the acts who couldn't make it this year, but this will, of course, depend on their availability and commitments.

Finally, we've noticed a few comments suggesting confusion between our event and a food festival, with some people wondering where the bands were this year compared to two years ago. We just want to clarify that the Carnival has always been held on the second Sunday in July. We are a separate event from any canceled food festival, so please don't get us confused!
