I made a simple post “On how to make a successful Nursing Job application” & here’s one of the comments I received on FACEBOOK of course…

Narratives like this are dangerous to the society, and needs to be addressed ASAP!

Again!!! There’s always that one guy! That sounds like he’s been hurt and declared unwanted by a Nurse 😂🤣 you could literally feel the pain in the comment…

If you didn’t open your mouth and talk now, we would never find out how empty your brain is… see how you just exposed your ignorance.

Let me say this for the last time… ok, maybe not for the last time…

Anyone!!! Anyone!!! Anyone smart enough, can study NURSING!!! Just like every other course on earth!!!

You obtain the admission form, apply to the University, and study NURSING!!! & yes, there are Nurses who study up to the PhD level. If you still need someone to outline this to you in 2025, then you’re a complete retar^d.

If you think NURSING is still on the path where every tom, dick and Harry just waltz in without proper education, then you need to wake up from your deep slumber… Silly uneducated lots.

Your Job application is real business!!! Like, it’s what gets you into the room! So you shouldn’t mess around with it!!!! It’s the most important part of the process!!!

1, If you’re applying from outside the UK, 🇬🇧 without meeting the MOST of the essential requirements you’re setting yourself up… you should meet at least “90-95%” … review your application until it’s very close to that range…

2, It’s not just about packing loads of CPDs into your application,,, the question is “Are they relevant????”

If an employer is recruiting you from overseas, they need to prove to home office they haven’t found a suitable candidate within the UK 🇬🇧… it means you have more work to do with your application to make it irresistible!…

But UK employers are still recruiting from overseas!
IF! You meet the criteria!

You’all know life’s been extremely busy for me lately,,, but I’ll try do some research and share with you list of hospitals in UK recruiting from overseas especially for those of you who have self sponsored and got your NMC pin at hand…

When someone said “Yeah, you’d be surprised to find out, medical abortion pills are also free”

“How can termination pills be free, but you have to pay for Flu medications or other prescriptions🫡 ???

Simple answer;

1. Abortion is a Legal NHS Service

Abortion (up to the legal gestational limits) is part of NHS-funded healthcare.
Just like antenatal care, contraception, or emergency treatment, it is considered a core health service, so patients do not pay out of pocket.

2. To Remove Financial Barriers

The UK government ensures that cost is never a barrier for someone who needs to end a pregnancy.
Charging for abortion pills would disproportionately affect low-income or vulnerable women.

3. To Reduce Unsafe Abortions

Making the service free and accessible through regulated providers reduces:
• Unsafe practices
• Delays in seeking care

4. Public Health & Equality Considerations

The UK prioritises reproductive health as a public health need, not a privilege.
Free access aligns with:
• Women’s rights
• Health equality
• NICE guidance and evidence-based care

5. Applicable to Everyone; Even If You’re Not a UK Citizen

In England, Scotland, and Wales, anyone who is “ordinarily resident” receives abortion care free under the NHS, regardless of nationality.

When one of my friends who recently became a British citizen 🇬🇧 mentioned you’d still have to pay for the “British Citizenship Ceremony 🇬🇧 again, I was shocked 😳… like, you mean, after paying for the main application like £1735 !!! I will still pay £150- £260 for Private Ceremony??? !!!

And mind you, you won’t receive your certificate until after attending or at the ceremony o! 🙄🙄

Later some bad belle will say it’s not worth celebrating. “It’s not worth celebrating””nobody celebrates it” but, even the home office dey arrange us ceremony 😂🤣😂🤣
If you like no attend am, cos say “ it’s not worth celebrating”

Convince yourself with whatever makes you sleep better at night…
